Our passion for engineering has led us into a wide range of engaging projects, often requiring novel and innovative solutions. However, to minimize project execution risks we strive wherever possible to transfer knowledge, lessons learned and introduce standard, field proven solutions to projects.  We are equally at home developing concepts and then producing the detailed engineering design or simply assisting clients with third party review and engineering management of projects designed by others.


We work to international, national, class, International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) and Marine Technology Society (MTS) standards and guidance, as well as equipment-specific regulations–such as those for crane equipment–and our own technical guidance notes.

Our Dynamic Positioning (DP) assurance and FME(C)A services are used on all types of offshore support vessels, from large drill ships to smaller high-speed offshore crew boats. Our clients include oil companies, offshore contractors, ship owners, shipyards and trade organizations, as well as other stakeholders in the DP sector.

Our surveyors have a wealth of experience in many aspects of offshore marine operations and can offer 3rd party independent advice on similar operations and methodology to produce the best results while keeping risk to acceptable levels. This experience is invaluable when unusual operations or alternative solutions are required.

  • Harbour engineering related to seabed levelling, concrete structures, fenders, linkspans and gangways.
  • Design of marine systems such as piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and electrical single line diagrams.
  • Conversion, modification and repair engineering of DP2/DP3 vessels.

Technical due diligence services including working on behalf of owners, operators, buyers or financial institutions to help ascertain the condition of a vessel, the status of a construction project or the readiness of a shipyard to undertake a construction project.
